Winslow
Winslow is a small Georgian market town of immense charm and character. The most prominent building is Winslow Hall, in Sheep Street, built in 1700 by William Lowndes, the local boy who made his fortune in London and rose to be Secretary of the Treasury. It is not open to the public. The 11th century Parish Church of St Laurence stands in the High Street.
